Broccoli

Broccoli is easily available in your local vegetable market and AC malls or you can order it through online sites. But either way, you will get the nutrients of the broccoli and that is the most important thing. Being a green vegetable, broccoli is almost always recommended by doctors and parents. But in childhood, we hardly realize the importance of healthy food and easily get lured by tasty but unhealthy burgers, pizzas, fries etc.

In terms of nutrients, broccoli is a vitamin C rich food that can fulfill a day's vitamin C requirement. Also, it contains antioxidants that protect the body from foreign bacteria and viruses by strengthening the immune system. You can also enjoy broccoli raw but that would be health consciousness at its highest. Most people like broccoli cooked in thick gravy and eat it with rice and chapatti (tortilla). But those who can afford to go to cafes and restaurants can enjoy broccoli salad with salt, black pepper and cheese.

It is said that one has to make sacrifices to achieve something in life. Similarly, if one eats broccoli for fitness instead of taking pills like Vardenafil (Levitra) and Avanafil (Stendra), then one will always choose broccoli.

Beetroot or Beet Root

Beetroot or Beetroot is considered to be one of the healthiest vegetable juices around. Enriched with a variety of vitamins and minerals, beetroot or Beet Root is an essential part of women's diet. Beetroot contains adequate levels of magnesium, copper and folic acid. It is extremely useful in keeping blood pressure under control. Due to the claustrophobic environment at work, school and in any field, competition is very high. This leads to women working for 14 to 16 hours daily under strict deadlines. Just imagine the mental state of such women.

Such women are more likely to experience sudden fluctuations in blood pressure, increased stress and emotional turmoil.

Nuts or dry fruits

Another important food in the diet should be nuts or dry fruits. It often happens that we don't feel like eating a full meal, so what can we do? We cannot stay on an empty stomach for hours as it leads to weakness and acidity. So we need to eat something that provides the required nutrients in a compact form.

Dried fruits are one such food that contains decent calories, fats and proteins and replaces a full meal. Some of the dry fruits available are pistachios, almonds, cashews, walnuts, etc. There are many ways to consume your favorite dry fruits. Eat them raw like any other fruit and chew them thoroughly, or make a smoothie out of them or even enjoy a dry fruit bar.

But don't eat dried fruits in unlimited quantities, keep an eye on them. Because an excess of dried fruits means that you have consumed too much energy. This leads to stomach upsets that cause diarrhea or severe stomach pain. In extreme cases, it can damage your kidneys.
